Social Entrepreneurs in Denmark were hosting a dissemination conference for EU Erasmus+ project “The Social Entrepreneurship Development in the Baltic Sea Region“. Besides rapporting on the project results, the conference had a focus on social impact measurement in the countries around the Baltic Sea and on opportunities for regional cooperation and development of common methods in the field.
People with interest or practical experience with social impact measurement from both private, public and third sector are welcome to participate joined the conference.
There were 45 participants from Denmark, Poland, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, USA and Great Britain.

Per Bach – Social Entrepreneurs in Denmark
Per gave a breaf introduction to the project and told about the 4 different groups of intelectual outputs that has been produced during the project.

Beata Juraszek-Kopacz, Civil Soicety Development Foundation FRSO (Project prove.it)
Beata gave an introduction to the tool prove.it, that the Civil Soicety Development Foundation has developed to document social impact.

Afterwards there was half an hour group discussion about different challenges in adult education to develop social impact measurement tools for social enterprises and opportunities for regional cooperation and development of common methods for social enterprise impact measurement.
After the group discussion there was a 20 minuts rapport from the groups and a generel discussion.

Jaan Aps – Estonian Social Enterprise Network
Jaan presented the Estonian web solution for impact measurement and give practical examples about how the methodology has been used. Jaan also gave examples on, how this has had a positive influence on social enterprises leaders as well as social entreprise supporters.
